My Story
I am an acrylic and mixed media artist based in Surrey BC. I create colorful and expressive paintings depicting landscapes, birds and figures in compositions. My art is recognizable and often includes patterns, mandalas, text or rich layers. I utilize a variety of decorative papers and fabrics in my mixed media pieces.
I have a prior professional background in physiotherapy which has given me a lifelong belief in health and wellness. I try to create inspirational artwork, along the themes of nature, outdoor fitness, wildlife, meditation and connection to local birds. Travels to Europe, Asia and Morocco have greatly influence my love of pattern, history and art. I seek to connect these memories in a decorative way to the beautiful nature of BC.
I am an active member of the Federation of Canadian Artists and show my work in various art shows and galleries. In good weather during the Summer, I can be found painting outdoors and showing my work on the Artist’s Walk at White Rock Beach.
